Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead a high-end bakery team in the heart of the community. You will coach staff, uphold brand standards, and drive exceptional service while managing costs and food quality.

In this role you’ll inspire performance, own results, and adapt to changing priorities. You’ll create a thriving, customer-focused environment where colleagues grow and customers enjoy outstanding coffee and freshly baked goods.

Qualifications

• Experience in management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery or restaurant environments.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets and KPIs.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety and quality standards.

We are looking for an experienced manager with leadership experience in food service and customer-facing environments. Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
