Job summary

The Cornish Bakery in Witney is seeking a Team Leader to inspire and nourish the team while delivering outstanding bakery experiences for customers. Working with the Bakery Management Team, you’ll lead shifts, coach colleagues, and ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and cleanliness across the store.

Full training will be provided, with opportunities to build leadership skills and advance within a growing brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within food service, hospitality or retail.
• Natural ability to motivate others and lead by example.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on shifts and support the team in delivering outstanding service.
• Train and coach colleagues to consistently achieve brand standards.
• Make the World’s Best Coffee and prepare award-winning food with pride.

Working alongside the Bakery Management Team, you’ll take the lead on shifts, set the pace and make sure every customer receives warm, outstanding service. You’ll help colleagues build confidence, uphold our high standards and keep the bakery running smoothly.

As a Team Leader you will:

• Take the lead on shifts and support the team in delivering outstanding service
• Train and coach colleagues to consistently achieve our brand standards
• Make the World’s Best Coffee and prepare our award-winning food with pride
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, food safety and cleanliness
• Support the Management Team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the bakery
• Make the most of colleagues’ strengths and deploy the team effectively to maximise sales
