Job summary

FBC UK is seeking a proactive Maintenance Scheduler for our Llantarnam Bakery site. You will plan and coordinate maintenance activities, maximise asset reliability, and support safe, efficient operations on a busy manufacturing line.

You will work with the Engineering Planning Manager to develop maintenance plans, manage schedules, and allocate resources. Strong data analysis and documentation skills are essential to drive continuous improvement and maintain audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Ability to analyse data and produce KPI reports to drive improvements.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and data integrity skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Planning Manager in delivering the site engineering plan and KPIs through planning, scheduling and maintenance administration.
• Produce and maintain weekly engineering schedules with proper prioritisation and resource allocation.
• Create and manage maintenance work orders and PPM tasks within the Shire CMMS and ensure proper logging.
• Monitor and close completed work orders; keep maintenance records accurate and audit-ready.
• Distribute maintenance orders and supporting docs to engineering teams; communicate plans clearly.
• Analyse performance data and produce KPI insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
