Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society in Southam is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our bakery area. This 16-hour-per-week, permanent role requires flexibility to work mornings and evenings, with a clear pathway to progression fromTeam Leader to Store Manager.

You’ll deliver friendly service, keep shelves stocked, handle deliveries, maintain food safety standards, support promotions, and work as part of a team to meet store targets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful, and efficient service to every customer
• Keep shelves fully stocked, well-presented, and shop floor ready
• Handle deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Support promotions and merchandising activity
• Work as part of a team to achieve store targets
• You’ll be visible on the shop floor, ready to help customers and step in wherever needed to keep the store running at pace.
