Job summary

Celebrity Cruises seeks an experienced Bakery Manager to oversee daily bakery operations aboard and ensure high quality bread for all menus. You will manage a diverse team, coach staff, and enforce strict safety and USPH standards while maintaining cost controls and production schedules.

The role requires a culinary school diploma, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with hotel and stewards teams across shipboard operations.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a CDP Baker in upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
• Culinary school degree required.
• Strong management, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures smooth and efficient operation and control of the Bakery Shop and production daily.
• Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates the team under Head Baker.
• Responsible for production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus.
• Prepare production forecasts and record leftovers to minimize waste and control costs.
• Supervise bread display setup in buffets and ensure USPH compliance.
