Cardiff Council is recruiting an Enforcement Agent to join the Recovery department. The role involves enforcing liability orders and warrants for non-payment of parking fines, Council tax and Business Rates under the Courts and Tribunal Act 2007.
You will hold a Level 2 Taking Control of Goods qualification and a valid Enforcement Agent Certificate, with GCSEs and good IT skills. The ability to communicate confidently and remain composed in challenging situations is essential.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Enforcement Agent within the Recovery department.
The successful candidate will fill the role of Enforcement Agent enforcing liability orders and warrants issued for non-payment of parking fines, Council tax and Business Rates in accordance with the Courts and Tribunal Act 2007 and Taking Control of Goods Regulations 2013.
You will be an experienced Enforcement Agent who currently holds a level two qualification in Taking Control of Goods and a valid Enforcement Agent Certificate.
You will be a highly motivated individual with the drive and ambition to succeed in a challenging role. You will be able to demonstrate confident and assertive communication skills and be able to remain composed in difficult situations.
You will be educated to GCSE standard and have good IT skills.
