CreateFuture is an AI-native consulting partner, empowering people to do work that matters. We’re hiring a Mid Software Engineer (Java) to join client teams, building backend services with Java and Spring Boot, and growing through mentorship in a collaborative environment.

In this UK-based role with hybrid/remote options, you’ll own well-defined features, contribute to RESTful APIs, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines, and work with relational databases as you expand your engineering craft.

Qualificações

• Commercial experience with Java 8+ (Streams, Lambdas, Optional).
• Experience with Spring Boot and familiarity with the Spring ecosystem.
• Understanding of REST API design and professional API delivery.
• Exposure to relational databases and Git; comfort with CI/CD.
• Curious, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend features and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, tested code with unit and integration tests.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB) via Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
• Take part in code reviews and provide/receive feedback on best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, tech leads and product colleagues to deliver well-defined work.
• Use CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows to ship changes safely.
