Job summary

ElevenLabs, an AI research and product company, is seeking back-end engineers to expand our platform atop cutting-edge voice models. The role offers global remote work or on-site in select offices, with no required formal degrees, emphasizing demonstrable project work and GitHub contributions.

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, collaborate across teams, and help drive security and reliability as we scale.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Python required.
• Strong background in backend development.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions and data structures.
• Knowledge of test design and security fundamentals.
• Bonus: Kubernetes experience; Stripe or other payment processors; basics about AI models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our platform on top of voice models used by millions of users.
• Improve existing products to be intuitive and powerful, integrating with other solutions as needed.
• Maintain and strengthen internal infrastructure to keep products live, fast, and secure.
• Collaborate with Frontend, Growth and Sales teams to design customer solutions.
