Slim Chickens Leeds is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to lead the kitchen team, oversee food preparation, ensure food safety, manage stock, and collaborate with Front of House to deliver smooth service.

You will mentor staff, drive high standards, and maintain a positive, fast-paced work environment in our casual, southern-inspired restaurant.

Formación

• Experience supervising a kitchen or back-of-house team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership with the ability to inspire a kitchen team.
• Passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
• Availability including weekends, late nights and bank holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Managing inventory, monitoring food stock, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies.
• Collaborating with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure seamless service.
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold our brand’s high standards.
• Creating a positive, productive work environment where the kitchen team can thrive.
