B2B Trade Marketing Manager

Full-time | Build something from the ground up

Are you ready to lead and grow a trade marketing function from scratch? Our client is an award-winning B2C/B2B retail/e-commerce business (in the home improvement sector) which has gone from £0 to £50million in the space of just 10 years.

They are looking for a commercially minded Trade Marketing Manager to take full ownership of the B2B trade strategy across 3 high-performing eCommerce brands.

This is a rare opportunity to shape and build a function that’s critical to business growth — bringing strategy, campaigns, and lifecycle marketing together to serve a fast-growing trade customer base. You’ll have a high level of autonomy, budget ownership, and access to a talented centralised marketing team to make it happen.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and deliver the trade marketing strategy across multiple brands
  • Develop multi-channel campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Collaborate with CRM, performance, and commercial teams to align messaging and activity
  • Build tailored trade journeys, communications, and loyalty initiatives
  • Represent the trade customer internally, championing an outstanding experience
  • Utilise data to evaluate and optimise campaigns
  • Help shape long-term lead gen, lifecycle, and event strategies for the trade programme

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in B2B or trade marketing (ideally in eCommerce, retail, or home improvement)
  • A generalist marketer who’s comfortable working across the funnel — from brand to performance
  • Data-savvy and commercially minded, with a clear understanding of customer segmentation and lifetime value
  • A self-starter who thrives in an environment where you have autonomy, ownership, and a chance to build
  • Confident collaborating across teams and bringing others on the journey
