Job summary

Greys Specialist Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Executive for a client in Salford Quays. You will generate new business opportunities, qualify leads and arrange quality appointments for the wider sales team, speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers.

The role offers a base salary of £28,000-£30,000 with uncapped commission and an OTE of £40,000-£50,000 in the first year, with clear progression into more senior commercial roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales or B2B sales.
• Confidence talking with business customers on the phone.
• Ability to build rapport and identify genuine business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify new business opportunities.
• Develop your own pipeline and arrange appointments for the sales team.
• Make outbound calls to prospective business customers and engage owners/decision-makers.
• Qualify prospects and understand client requirements.
• Follow up warm leads and previous conversations.
• Maintain CRM records and manage your pipeline.
• Work towards activity, appointment and revenue targets.
• Share market feedback with the wider team.
