Job summary

The Underfloor Heating Store in Basildon is seeking an experienced Account Manager to own and grow a national merchant customer base, managing accounts worth several millions in annual sales.

You will be based five days a week in our Basildon office, focusing on supporting the City Plumbing network and other national builders’ merchants with underfloor heating solutions, and you will develop new business through proactive outreach.

Qualifications

• Prior account management experience with national or international merchants.
• Experience in the construction industry is essential.
• Background in plumbing/heating is a plus but not required.
• Proactive, outbound sales mindset with strong relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage B2B relationships across national merchants such as City Plumbing, Travis Perkins, and Jewson.
• Design and sell underfloor heating systems for merchant end customers.
• Proactively hunt for new business by reaching out to new branches.
• Negotiate with national and international merchants as their go-to underfloor heating expert.
