Job summary

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a B2 FLT Driver / Production Serviceman for ongoing work in Loughborough. The successful candidate will ensure the cleanliness and continuity of production setup while operating forklift trucks and overhead cranes.

The position is based on a temp-to-perm contract with shifts from Monday to Friday. Basic pay is £15.50 PAYE, with opportunities for overtime. A valid FLT licence B1 and B2 is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence B1 and B2 is required.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and ride-on pallet trucks is preferred.

Job Title: B2 FLT Driver / Production Serviceman

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Production Serviceman that holds a valid FLT Licence (B1 and B2) for an ongoing contract based in Loughborough. To ensure continuity of production materials and general housekeeping duties within all areas, you will provide indirect labour to transformer production winding, transformer assembly, final assembly and internal transport of consumable materials and transformer parts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve level of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the Production facility.
• Movement of materials & parts between areas, including oven process.
• Operation of overhead cranes, ride on pallet truck, and fork‑lift truck.

Shifts

• Mornings - 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 13:00 Friday

Pay Rates

• Basic - £15.50 PAYE, £20.52 UMB (while temping)
• Over time rates available

Qualifications

• Forklift truck licence B1 & B2
• B1 and B2 Counterbalance licence

Skills

• Good interpersonal & communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Overhead crane, slinging & lifting experience.
• Previous exposure to manufacturing/engineering environment.
