Smart 1 Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable FLT Driver / Labourer for an established electrical engineering company based in Stoke Prior. The role combines driving, deliveries, factory work and general labouring with UK-wide travel and some overnight stays.

Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Pay is £15.50-£16.00 per hour. Temporary to permanent contract with UK-wide duties.

• Valid FLT licence and CSCS card are required.
• Full, clean driving licence and confident with deliveries.
• Hands-on, mechanically minded with flexibility to undertake varied duties.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a forklift truck (FLT) and assist with general factory work.
• Drive a flatbed vehicle and deliver to sites across the UK.
• Load and unload materials, assist with installation and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain stores and stock, support day-to-day team operations.

An established electrical engineering company based in Stoke Prior is looking for a reliable, hands-on FLT Driver / Labourer to join the team. This varied role combines driving, deliveries, factory work, site labouring and general maintenance. The successful candidate will be flexible and happy to turn their hand to a variety of duties, including travelling to sites across the UK, with some overnight stays required.

Duties of an FLT Driver / Labourer

• General factory work, assembly and labouring.
• Operating a forklift truck (FLT).
• Driving a flatbed vehicle and carrying out deliveries to sites.
• Loading and offloading materials and equipment.
• Carrying out basic mechanical work on Air Handling Units (AHUs).
• Assisting with site installation work and general labouring duties.
• Managing and organising stores and stock.
• Carrying out general factory maintenance.
• Supporting the team with day-to-day tasks as required.

Requirements for the FLT Driver / Labourer

• Valid FLT licence.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Confident driving a flatbed vehicle and undertaking deliveries.
• Valid CSCS card for site work.
• Practical, hands-on and mechanically minded.
• Flexible, reliable and willing to undertake a variety of duties.
• Happy to travel and stay away overnight when required, as work is UK-wide.

Location: Stoke Prior, Worcestershire

Hours of work: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday
