Job summary

We are currently recruiting a Production Serviceman holding a valid FLT Licence (B1) and Overhead Crane licence for an ongoing contract based in Loughborough. The role involves ensuring continuity of production materials and general housekeeping duties across all areas, providing indirect labour to transformer production winding, transformer assembly, final assembly, and internal transport of consumable materials and transformer parts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the production facility.
• Move materials & parts between areas, including oven process.
• Operate overhead cranes, ride‑on pallet truck, and forklift truck.

Pay Rates

• Basic – £15.50 PAYE, £20.52 UMB (while temping)
• Overtime rates available

Qualifications

• Valid B1 Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Overhead Crane/Slinger licence and experience.

Skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Experience

• Overhead crane, slinging, and lifting experience.
• Previous exposure to a manufacturing or engineering environment.
