Azure TechOps Engineer - Reliability & Automation Lead

Job summary

Addition seeks an experienced TechOps Engineer to operate, stabilise and scale Azure-based production platforms in a hands-on capacity. You will own incident management, security remediation, CI/CD and automation across a complex environment, supporting 24/7 operations and on-call rotations.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot microservices, RHEL and a broad technology stack, driving root-cause analysis and permanent improvements while collaborating with security and NOC teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years in TechOps, Infrastructure or SRE.
• Hands-on Azure services including VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers and Key Vault.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot in production and middleware.
• Strong scripting in Python/Bash and automation focus.
• Familiarity with ITIL and incident/change management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain secure, resilient Azure-based UAT and production platforms.
• Lead L2/L3 incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
• Improve platform reliability via automation and CI/CD.
• Support Java/Spring Boot microservices and middleware in production.
• Collaborate with Security, SOC, NOC during incidents and reviews.
• Manage incidents, problems and changes in Jira Service Management.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
