Job summary

Addition Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced TechOps Engineer to operate, stabilise and scale Azure-based production platforms. You will own incident management, security remediation, CI/CD and automation in a 24/7 environment, tackling complex issues across infrastructure and middleware.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in TechOps, Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering or Production Operations.
• Extensive Microsoft Azure experience with VMs, VNets, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Bastion, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Redis and MySQL.
• Knowledge of Azure Front Door, Cloudflare, Layer 7 load balancing, TLS, VPNs and private endpoints.
• Advanced RHEL administration in enterprise production environments.
• Proven experience supporting Java and Spring Boot microservices in production.
• Strong knowledge of Nginx and middleware technologies (Dubbo, Nacos, ZooKeeper, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Redis).
• Advanced Elasticsearch operations, cluster management, indexing and tuning.
• Observability proficiency across ELK, Micrometer, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor and JVM monitoring.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions and Git-based delivery workflows.
• Strong scripting and automation with Python and Bash.
• Terraform experience; familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and GitOps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain secure, resilient and scalable production platforms in Microsoft Azure.
• Lead L2/L3 incident escalation and drive root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Support Java and Spring Boot microservices in production environments.
• Drive security remediation across operating systems, middleware and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Security, SOC and NOC during incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Manage incidents, problems and changes through Jira Service Management.
• Maintain runbooks, dashboards and technical documentation.
• Improve platform reliability through automation and CI/CD practices.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
