Qualifications

• Proven experience managing releases within Azure environments, from planning and testing to production deployment.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps and release pipelines, including deployment coordination and approvals.
• Strong understanding of release readiness, testing, dependencies, risk management and rollback planning.
• Experience coordinating releases across multiple technical teams and environments.
• The confidence to challenge technical teams, influence decisions and ensure releases are ready to proceed.
• Ability to bring structure to an evolving function and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the Azure release management process, coordinating releases across development, test and production environments.
• Manage release planning, schedules, dependencies and readiness, ensuring teams understand deployment sequencing.
• Work with Azure release pipelines, approvals, environment readiness and rollback planning.
• Ensure testing, sign-offs and risk assessments are completed before production.
• Coordinate release activity across Azure and connected platforms (Dynamics 365, Entra, Oracle, Salesforce).
• Take ownership of release governance, identify gaps and address issues before deployment.
• Manage environment availability and competing release requirements across teams.
• Review and improve release processes and controls for greater consistency and visibility.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
