Job summary

Atos is seeking an experienced Azure Platform Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership for a high-performing Agile delivery team responsible for designing, building, automating and supporting secure cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.

The role combines hands-on platform engineering with strategic direction, governance reporting and collaboration with Architecture to ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong Azure platform experience with hands-on cloud engineering.
• Experience with secure cloud infrastructure in Azure environments.
• Proven ability to lead Agile delivery teams and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and direction.
• Plan activity across sprints; ensure backlog is technically ready and aligned to milestones.
• Direct sprint planning, refinement, delivery, reviews and retrospectives.
• Review and approve work against acceptance criteria, standards, and security controls.
• Maintain RAID logs with owners, impacts, mitigations and target dates.
• Support project plan with estimates, sequencing and forecasts.
• Record technical and delivery decisions in the decision log.
• Provide governance reporting on delivery status, quality, risks and dependencies.
• Liaise with Architecture to implement approved HLD.
• Ensure traceability to HLD and security principles.
• Produce and approve LLDs for implementation and operations.
• Identify design gaps and obtain approvals before implementation.
• Capture architecture decisions and deviations in logs and documentation.
