Job summary

Mphasis is seeking an experienced Cloud & Server Platform Engineer to design, build, and govern Azure-based cloud-native and hybrid platform services. You will work with architecture, development, and data teams to enable self-service, automation, and scalable operations.

Role focuses on establishing standards, governance, and reference architectures, driving IaC adoption, CI/CD, and secure, well-architected cloud solutions for hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, Entra ID, governance).
• 2+ years with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• 2+ years in infrastructure design or platform engineering.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Bash).
• Solid understanding of containerisation (Docker) and AKS familiarity.
• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, patterns, and Well-Architected framework.
• Experience defining standards, governance, and reference architectures for cloud platforms.
• Strong networking, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM) and security/compliance frameworks (ITIL/ COBIT).

• Champion automation, self-service, and IaC with CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish governance, monitoring, and operational standards for platforms.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture, development, and data teams to drive improvements.
