Job summary

Procentia is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join the platform team, focusing on our Azure cloud platform. You’ll work with development colleagues to deliver our pension software products and ensure platform build and support align with best practices.

You will design robust Azure-based architectures, implement IaC and CI/CD pipelines, migrate existing applications, optimise costs, monitor performance, and strengthen security.

Qualifications

• Solid experience designing Azure-based cloud solutions and architectures.
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python or Bash) to automate tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC and IaC tools (Terraform/ARM).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based solutions meeting business needs.
• Build scalable, secure cloud architectures with cost control.
• Migrate to Azure and modernise existing apps.
• Provision and manage Azure resources (VMs, storage, app services).
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and IaC deployment processes.
• Monitor performance and diagnose Azure service issues.
• Address security vulnerabilities and access controls.
• Document architecture decisions and procedures.
