Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a CloudOps Engineer in Chichester, West Sussex. The role focuses on hands-on cloud operations, incident resolution, and ongoing improvements to Azure-based infrastructure.

Hybrid working pattern: three days per week in the office, with the remainder remote. You will troubleshoot production environments, implement automation, and support disaster recovery planning while maintaining robust security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting cloud-based production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure.
• Experience within a Windows environment.
• Good understanding of infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of cyber security and infrastructure security.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and maintaining cloud-hosted production, development and test environments.
• Investigating and resolving infrastructure, application, database and networking issues.
• Managing and improving cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Monitoring platform performance, reliability and security.
• Identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities.
• Improving operational processes through automation and documentation.
• Supporting disaster recovery planning and testing.
