Job summary

Manufacturing Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Azure Cloud Security Engineer for a hybrid role. The position focuses on evaluating and implementing cloud security solutions using cloud-native technologies, with a strong emphasis on Azure services and security by design.

You will collaborate with Security Architects to define strategy, build guardrails, and ensure governance across enterprise cloud workloads. Hands-on Azure expertise and DevSecOps experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven design and implementation experience for secure cloud environments (Azure).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Hands-on in AKS and microservices security architecture.
• Experience with DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Defender security tools and SIEM for threat monitoring.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python; ARM/BICEP templating.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate security technologies and cloud services, engineering secure solutions.
• Develop cloud security via Security as Code and automation tooling.
• Define and own cloud security strategy with Security Architects.
• Establish guardrails and best practices for developers in cloud-native services.
• Ensure solutions meet security standards and governance guidelines.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver enterprise-class cloud services.
