Job summary

Spectrum IT is seeking a skilled CloudOps Engineer to join our hybrid team in a role centered on cloud operations and security. You will manage Azure-based environments and support production, development and test systems across multiple clouds, maintaining high reliability.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, automate repetitive tasks, and contribute to security and disaster recovery initiatives while collaborating with an international team to drive improvements across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting cloud-based production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure.
• Experience within a Windows environment.
• Good understanding of infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of cyber security, vulnerability management and infrastructure security.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain cloud-hosted production, development and test environments.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, application, database and networking issues.
• Manage and improve cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability and security.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Improve operational processes through automation and documentation.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
