Job summary

The Woodland Trust is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Lead to design, implement and support Microsoft Azure cloud and hybrid solutions. You will ensure security, resilience, and regulatory compliance while guiding incident response and cost-saving initiatives.

This hybrid role is based at our Grantham head office with monthly attendance and occasional travel. The 37.5-hour, 2-year fixed-term contract offers opportunities to shape secure cloud architecture and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Strong design, deployment and support skills for Azure cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS and core services (VMs, App Services, SQL, Storage).
• Expertise in Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, LB, Private Endpoints, WAF, Front Door).
• Ability to design secure cloud architectures and follow security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for cloud infrastructure and systems.
• Ensure cloud solutions are secure, resilient and compliant with policies and standards.
• Lead troubleshooting, incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, reliability and cost-efficiency.
• Lead technical reviews and design discussions with stakeholders and partners.
• Work with third-party suppliers to support delivery and improvements.
