Job summary

Ampa Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and modernise our server, storage, network, and cloud platforms. The role emphasises delivery of secure, available services and ongoing migration toward Azure and the Microsoft 365 stack.

You will mentor colleagues, define best practices, and work with stakeholders across the business to improve systems while ensuring alignment with ITIL and security standards. Flexible location, permanent full-time role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an infrastructure delivery team.
• Change management experience and strong communication.
• Ability to arbitrate and prioritise deployment issues.
• Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stability and availability of systems.
• Monitor, maintain, and support systems and software.
• Apply patches and upgrades with production awareness.
• Own actions for projects, problems, and incidents.
• Root-cause analysis and remediation of issues.
• Monitor capacity and performance against baselines.
• Mentor junior staff and transfer knowledge.
• DR and failover testing and documentation.
• Ensure licensing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT teams.
