Job summary

Mentmore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and develop our IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies and Microsoft Azure. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you will take ownership of infrastructure issues, help maintain reliable and secure systems, and play a key role in migrating services from on-premises environments into the cloud.

You will also provide technical guidance and support to two team members.

Qualifications

• Experience as an infrastructure engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure and related cloud services.
• Proven ability to migrate on-premises workloads to the cloud.
• Knowledge of Azure landing zones and secure cloud design."
• Strong troubleshooting skills across server, network and cloud.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar infrastructure‑focused role.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience migrating infrastructure and workloads from on‑premises environments to the cloud.
• Experience with Azure landing zones.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack and server infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN networking.
• Ability to work independently while supporting and guiding other team members.
• VMware virtualisation experience.
• VMware Horizon experience.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.
