Job summary

Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help maintain and improve our cloud hosted IaaS. You'll work across M365, Azure, Meraki and enterprise apps, ensuring security, uptime and a great user experience for colleagues nationwide.

The role covers incident and problem management, automation, monitoring and configuration of servers and networks, with line management responsibility for junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of core infrastructure services through incident and problem management.
• Drive improvements to deliver new and updated core infrastructure services.
• Drive automation throughout the core infrastructure estate.
• System monitoring and maintenance of servers, networks, backups and end user devices.
• Deploy and configure servers, end user devices, networking equipment and enterprise software.
• Implement and maintain security controls and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain documentation and provide line management for Junior Infrastructure Engineers.
