Job summary
Ampa Group is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and evolve our on-prem and cloud infrastructure across servers, storage, networks, and applications. You will drive Azure adoption, secure operations, mentor junior staff, and partner with stakeholders to deliver reliable IT services.
You'll work in a flexible, hybrid model within a UK-wide hub network, contributing to DR testing, security posture, and ESG objectives while aligning with ITIL practices and continuous
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, and cloud-based architectures (Azure).
- Experience with VMware/Nutanix hypervisors and Citrix environments.
- Proven ability to manage security, DR, and backups (Rubrik or similar).
- Good communication with stakeholders and ability to mentor juniors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and support server, storage, network, and application infrastructure.
- Lead change control and ITIL-aligned incident management.
- Drive migration to Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and policies.
- Collaborate with architecture and project teams on improvement initiatives.
