Job summary

Sumer is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to support a major transformation programme in London, consolidating multiple accountancy firms into a centralised Microsoft Azure environment.

You will migrate on‑premises and existing cloud estates to a unified, secure Azure platform, manage Nutanix, Windows Server and Citrix, and coordinate identity, networking and governance across internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid/cloud migrations.
Proven track record delivering infrastructure migration projects (VMware/Hyper-V) to Azure or similar.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and governance in enterprise IT environments.
Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and identity management.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Nutanix, Windows Server, Citrix and wider infrastructure, ensuring performance, capacity, availability and security.
Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory and key business applications.
Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN and routing.
Plan and deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation, including migration of servers, virtual machines, storage, file services and applications to Azure.
Support tenant consolidation, identity integration and hybrid/cloud transformation across multiple entities.
Assess and document existing on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments, developing appropriate migration strategies.
Provide Level 3 technical support, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and maintain security, compliance and governance standards.
Work with project stakeholders to manage migration projects, risks and documentation, providing technical handover and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
