Job summary

VML, part of WPP, is seeking a senior technical pre‑sales architect to own the AWS co‑sell strategy across EMEA. You will partner with Alliance Sales and AWS specialists to win strategic pursuits, setting technical direction and backing it up with credible demos and production‑grade reference architectures.

You will mentor delivery teams, shape technical standards, and drive POC to production conversions while nurturing strong AWS relationships across the alliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical pre‑sales or solution architecture with client‑facing credibility.
• Deep hands‑on AWS expertise with a track record of delivered projects.
• Strong experience leading demos and POCs that win competitive pursuits.
• Proven ability to apply enterprise architecture patterns to real client problems.
• Experience in a Global Systems Integrator, agency, or professional services environment.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional and/or ML/Data Analytics) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy behind co‑sell pursuits and set the technical win direction.
• Design reference architectures that become standards for joint AWS solutions.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept work and shape POCs into production systems.
• Build trusted AWS field relationships and engage with Solutions Architects and ProServe.
• Advise leadership on AWS architecture strategy and roadmaps to stay ahead.
