Job summary

VML is expanding its AWS‑led pre-sales capability in the UK and EMEA, delivering demos, POCs, and scalable reference architectures that de‑risk client engagements. The role sits between AWS technology and VML delivery, coordinating with Alliance Sales, Solution Leads and AWS teams to convert opportunities into production work.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technical pre‑sales or sales engineering within professional services, consultancy, or AWS‑brokered environments.
• Experience leading technical conversations, shaping demos/POCs, and driving technical wins into engagements.
• Ability to contribute to SOWs, RFPs, and proposals with clear narratives, assumptions and deliverables.
• Hands‑on AWS delivery experience with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate).
• Strong data/AI/ML and analytics capabilities on AWS, including architecture and governance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical demos and POC engagements across AWS opportunities in UKI/EMEA.
• Create reference architectures for common AWS use cases and reusable demo environments.
• Collaborate with AWS Solution Architects and internal teams to shape technical content and scope.
• Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and SOWs with clear technical narratives and estimates.
• Ensure solutions comply with GDPR, data residency, and regional data sovereignty requirements.
• Enable delivery teams with technical guidance and build cross‑team capability across EMEA.
