Job summary

DS Smith is seeking a Cloud Operations Owner for AWS to shape the future of our cloud platforms across Europe. You will own operational performance, governance, and continuous improvement of AWS services, partnering with internal teams and providers.

Lead incident management, monitor SLAs and KPIs, drive improvements, and ensure governance across change, release, and security. Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Engineering and Security teams to support our digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS in enterprise or MSP environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with ITIL and service governance.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS operations and be primary contact for AWS services.
• Lead incident management with internal and external partners.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Governance across incident, change, release, and transition processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and preventative actions.
