Job summary

Amazon Security seeks an experienced security leader to join the CloudOps team in London. You will build and manage a team of incident managers and technical leaders, driving engineering teams to take timely actions to mitigate risks.

A track record of delivering high-quality security products in hyper-growth environments is preferred. You will focus on ownership, accountability, and driving high standards in cloud incident management, with emphasis on security and delivery across large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience applying threat modeling or risk identification techniques.
• Experience managing and developing security teams.
• Experience in software security environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing security engineering team.
• Drive incident management processes with SLAs and quality standards.
• Prioritize and remediate security issues with service teams across AWS.
• Develop initiatives to improve security response, automation, and scaling.
• Foster ownership, learning, and psychological safety.
• Maintain cross-organizational communication for escalations.
• Guide security architecture decisions across orgs and services.
• Measure team performance and security program effectiveness.
• Mentor future security leaders and create growth opportunities.
