Job summary

Catch22 is recruiting an Awareness & Prevention Worker WM to support young people at risk of CSE/CCE in the West Mercia region. This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) covers Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire, with occasional travel across West Mercia.

You will design interventions, deliver workshops, and monitor outcomes in line with GDPR and organisational standards. You will be required to complete safeguarding protocols, work with multiple agencies, and

Qualifications

• Direct specialist knowledge of risk factors leading to exploitation and how to address them, embedding safeguarding into digital content.
• Ability to design and deliver impactful interventions for vulnerable young people and families.
• Experience planning, delivering, and evaluating support activities with resources and online tools.
• Qualification in youth work or equivalent experience creating safeguarding content online.
• Experience working with multiple agencies via virtual platforms to achieve outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Child Protection and safeguarding processes in digital outputs.
• Experience writing high-quality reports and evaluations showing engagement impact.
• Apply Health and Safety, risk management, including GDPR and data security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver group programmes, workshops and training for young people, professionals, parents & carers.
• Identify risk factors and intervene early to prevent exploitation.
• Deliver tailored interventions to reduce vulnerability.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to build trust and resilience.
• Safely share information and protect children from harm per safeguarding protocols.
• Signpost to up-to-date resources and inform policies in education and community settings.
