Job summary

Catch22 seeks an Awareness and Prevention Practitioner to develop and deliver programmes for young people, professionals and carers across West Mercia. The role focuses on safeguarding, risk identification and early intervention to prevent exploitation.

You will design interventions, use trauma-informed approaches, and collaborate to update policies while ensuring GDPR compliance and robust monitoring across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering group programmes and training for young people, professionals, parents & carers.
• Experience working with children and young people at risk of CSE/CCE and identifying risk factors.
• Access to a car and a full driving licence is a requirement of this role.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a range of group programmes, workshops and training for young people, professionals, parents & carers.
• Work with children and young people at risk of CSE and CCE by identifying risk factors and intervening early to prevent exploitation.
• Develop and deliver tailored interventions to reduce vulnerability.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to build trust and resilience.
• Proactively share safeguarding information to protect children from harm.
• Inform policies and procedures in education and community settings with up-to-date resources.
• Monitor and evaluate outcome measures from interventions.
