Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking an MRO Avionic Supervisor to lead a small team of aircraft technicians, ensuring safe, compliant maintenance under MAA MRP Part 145 and MOD approvals. The role combines hands-on supervision with planning, documentation, and mentoring.

You will optimise workflows, interpret technical publications, and maintain regulatory and company standards while coordinating with the Operations Lead to deliver on time across shifts, with opportunities for 2nd

Qualifications

• Fluent English language skills required
• Experience with general aircraft maintenance principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents/publications
• Proven mentorship or supervisory capabilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 or MOD approval
• Assemble, disassemble and modify systems to correct failures or implement changes
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical) to isolate faults
• Be flexible with work locations and hours to meet delivery schedules
• Provide guidance and mentoring to peers and junior technicians
• Supervise activities and ensure compliance under authorisation
• Identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues promptly
• Contribute to continuous improvement workshops and projects
• Oversee Apprentices or Trainees as directed and mentor them
• Contribute to open and honest reporting culture
