Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking an Avionics Supervisor to lead a small team of technicians in MRO activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and thorough work recording. The role reports to an Operations Lead and requires strong leadership, planning and technical oversight of maintenance tasks across programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent, solid knowledge of aircraft maintenance, and excellent English

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Trade apprenticeship or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and processes in aviation.
• Experience in either commercial or defence environments is valued.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office; able to work as part of an inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance supervision under MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD customer approval.
• Supervise, plan, sequence, and distribute work for a small team of technicians.
• Mentor peers and manage workload to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure proper documentation and conformity to procedures and safety requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and support risk management.
