Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for its MRO team. You will lead a small group of aircraft technicians, plan and sequence maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with MAA RA/MRP Part 145, QA, and SMS requirements.

You will mentor technicians, manage workload to meet schedules, and maintain thorough, accurate aircraft records while promoting safe, efficient operations across programmes.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience in aviation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under MAA MRP Part 145 or MOD approval.
• Supervise, mentor and sequence work for a small team of technicians.
• Plan, distribute and control technical work and records.
• Ensure paperwork and certifications are completed per procedures.
• Mitigate risks and escalate issues with stop-work authority when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and coaching of apprentices.
