Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking an MRO Avionic Technician to join a team supporting major UK programmes. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with Approved Technical Data and regulatory requirements.

A trade apprenticeship and strong English communication are essential. You'll work in the UK MRO environment under Boeing approvals, potentially across shifts, with mentoring support for apprentices and opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Experience interpreting technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of MAA regulatory articles and Part 145 QA/SMS obligations.
• Recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks per Approved Technical Data and certify work.
• Execute aircraft maintenance to meet schedule milestones and quality targets.
• Deliver maintenance under Boeing MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD customer approvals.
• Assemble, disassemble, modify or repair aircraft systems and components.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems.
• Mentor apprentices/trainees and escalate risks promptly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and safety culture.
