Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an Avionic Supervisor to join an MRO team based in Hampshire on a contracting basis. The role involves ensuring process adherence, accurate work recording, and regulatory compliance within an aerospace context.

The successful candidate will coordinate technical work, supervise teams, and interpret maintenance documentation in line with MAA RA/MRP Part 145, QA, and SMS requirements. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and aviation processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under the MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD client approval
• Disassemble/assemble/modify systems and replace components per maintenance manuals
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical) to isolate faults
• Flexibility with locations and shifts to ensure on-time delivery
• Mentor peers and junior colleagues as appropriate
• Exercise appropriate supervision and escalate risks when needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and workshops
• Provide oversight of Apprentices/Trainees where directed
• Support open and honest reporting culture
