Job summary

The Boeing Company in Lossiemouth, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the MRO organisation within BDUK. You will perform maintenance tasks, interpret technical data, and ensure compliance with RA/MRP Part 145, QA and SMS, while coordinating workload with the team.

Strong English communication is required; 1+ years aircraft maintenance experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or trade training equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance and flight line duties under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD customer approval.
• Support E-7 Flight Test and P-8A Base Maintenance teams; travel to Boscombe Down may be required.
• Assemble, disassemble and modify systems to correct failures or implement changes.
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical) to isolate faults and repair components.
• Remain flexible with work locations and times to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Mentor peers and apprentices as appropriate and escalate risks promptly.
