Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Avionic Technician to perform detailed maintenance on aircraft or components at RAF Leeming. You will work to approved data and MOE guidelines, diagnose faults, and support timely maintenance in a dynamic team environment.

The role requires familiarity with Part 145 activities, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to guide less experienced colleagues while maintaining safe and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience with aircraft maintenance and authorisations.
• Good understanding of approved Technical Information and MOE (Maintenance Organisation Exposition).
• IT literate and able to work within an integrated team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and complete maintenance & diagnostic activities on aircraft systems or components.
• Maintain airworthiness records and documentation.
• Follow approved data, maintenance instructions and MOE procedures.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members in a dynamic environment.
