Job summary

DHL Aviation is seeking a Transport Trainer to deliver mandatory training across DHL Hubs & Gateways, ensuring staff are qualified to operate safely. The role may involve travel within the UK and internationally to support training needs.

The ideal candidate has forklift operation experience, airside driving experience, and a relevant training delivery background, plus a UK driving licence. A 5‑year history and DBS checks will apply as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Practical experience of forklift operations (Required).
• 6+ months airside driving experience (Required).
• 1 year instructor training delivery experience (Desirable).
• GCSE English A-C (Required).
• Level 3 Award in Training (Desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (Required).
• LHR Airside Driving Permit (Desirable).
• Lift Truck Instructor (Desirable).
• Class 2 Cat C licence (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver mandatory training to all staff in conformity with regulations and network standards, supporting CIS training.
• Create and maintain training materials for DHL training events.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivered to DHL employees.
• Record training using databases and spreadsheets with compliance to standards.
• Prepare, organise and replenish materials and equipment.
• Deliver ongoing assessment to ensure standards are kept.
