Job summary

DHL Aviation at London Heathrow Airport is seeking an Operations Transport Supervisor to lead the safe and efficient movement of freight and airline equipment. You will manage a team of drivers and colleagues, coordinate transport activities and support the Transport Manager to hit KPIs.

You will ensure safety compliance, monitor driver hours, and drive continuous improvement across the site while delivering excellent service. flexibly cover shifts including evenings and nights as required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing transport/warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight collections and deliveries and ensure driver coverage.
• Lead, coach and develop colleagues to meet KPIs.
• Monitor driver hours, tachographs, and safety compliance.
• Investigate incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
• Support continuous improvement and CIM/CIS training.
