Leidos is seeking a Deputy Programme Manager to lead a major systems integration programme in a hybrid role based in Whiteley, Hampshire. The successful candidate will work with the Programme Manager to provide strategic direction, governance, and oversight across a large, multidisciplinary programme while ensuring quality and contractual commitments are met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting large, complex programmes within systems integration, aviation, defence, or similar regulated industries.
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration across diverse teams, and delivery performance.
• Commercial and financial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, and programme reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Programme Manager to provide leadership, guidance, and direction across the programme.
• Support the successful delivery of complex systems integration activities, ensuring quality, performance, and contractual commitments are achieved.
• Drive governance including risk, issue, dependency, and change management.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal teams for collaboration.
• Monitor programme performance, including schedules, budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
• Help create an inclusive, high‑performing culture where teams deliver their best work.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and long‑term programme success.
