Job summary

Leidos UK & Europe seeks a Deputy Programme Manager to lead and coordinate a large systems integration programme in a collaborative, regulated environment. You will work with the Programme Manager to provide strategic direction, operational leadership and governance across multi‑discipline teams, ensuring delivery against schedules and contractual commitments.

The role is hybrid from Whiteley, Hampshire, with SC clearance required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting large, complex programmes across engineering/aviation/defence.
• Strong stakeholder management across diverse teams and organisations.
• Experience managing programme risks, dependencies, governance, and delivery performance.
• Commercial awareness including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Clear, compelling communication to varied audiences.
• Collaborative leadership enabling cross‑functional teams to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Programme Manager to provide leadership and direction across the programme.
• Support the delivery of complex systems integration activities, ensuring quality and commitments.
• Drive governance, risk, issue, dependency and change management.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, forecasting and reporting.
• Help create an inclusive, high‑performing culture and continuous improvement.
• Support long‑term programme success through governance and delivery excellence.
