Orion Electrotech is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for a Fareham-based aerospace and defence client. You will lead high-profile programmes, coordinate design, development and certification, and work with engineering teams, customers and regulators.

The role offers hybrid working (4 days on-site in Fareham), PMI-PMP training, generous pension and life assurance, plus career progression within a global aerospace organisation.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience leading complex aerospace programmes in regulated environments.
• Technical degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven ability to deliver engineering, design, development or product change programmes.
• Strong governance, financial accountability and stakeholder management.
• Experience with certification or compliance in aerospace is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex aerospace programmes across design, development and certification.
• Chair programme boards, drive governance and provide senior reporting.
• Mentor project managers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Manage relationships with OEMs, suppliers and regulators.
• Oversee risk mitigation, tests and regulatory submissions.
