Job summary

Bombardier London Service Centre at Biggin Hill is seeking an Operations Support Director to lead and coordinate the operational support teams, including production planning, procurement, and parts stores. The role drives strategic plans for new programs, manages budgets, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational delivery and support functions in aircraft maintenance.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Management for business jets.
• Awareness of EH&S rules, Human Factors, and safety/environmental regs.
• Hold EASA Part 66 license or a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering.
• Knowledge of EWIS, CDCCL, and EASA Part 145 regulations.
• Experience with process improvement methods.
• Budgeting and financial reporting abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong planning, organizational skills, and labor forecasting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and data for margins.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational support teams for Bombardier London.
• Develop strategic plans to support new programs and capabilities.
• Manage direct reports, coaching and performance reviews.
• Ensure training aligns with OSHA, health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Prepare annual department budget and manage labor and parts margins.
• Ensure tooling and materials support production needs.
• Coordinate 3-month production schedule with Operations Director.
• Maintain customer communication and resolve invoicing disputes.
• Verify compliance with OSHA, environmental laws and EASA/CAA regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze service and parts data to monitor margins.
