Job summary

Bombardier's London Service Centre at Biggin Hill seeks a Material Handler to support goods-in, receiving, inspecting and warehousing activities within our aviation parts environment. You will ensure documentation, tooling and inventory accuracy, and help maintain compliant stores operations at the Biggin Hill site.

The role requires aviation/materials knowledge, SAP experience and a proactive, multi-tasking mindset, with a valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Goods-In experience with aircraft components or similar
• Experience in aviation or materials environment preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Proficient word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email tools
• Airfreight Security Employee training desirable
• ADR training (Dangerous Goods) desirable
• Incoming Goods Inspector training desirable
• Knowledge of European regulations (EASA Part-145, ADR, IATA 7/8) preferred
• Forklift qualification beneficial
• Export shipping experience beneficial

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier Maintenance Organization Procedures, MOE and safety/environmental procedures
• Attend morning meetings and inform team about constraints
• Prioritize items to ensure timely handling of incoming/outgoing parts (AOG first)
• Receive/inspect incoming/outgoing materials, ensure proper documentation
• Inspect and identify tools and enter tooling in the tooling program
• Quarantine and label rejected tools/parts; inform Buyer Planner of discrepancies
• Accept aircraft components and materials in SAP
• File material certificates and ensure proper storage and supplier linkage
• Issue approved parts and tooling with proper documentation to maintenance
• Place outgoing materials on correct customer accounts
• Maintain accurate inventory via cycle counts and WIP tracking
• Ensure materials are removed before expiry; prep items for aircraft input
• Monitor tooling calibration dates and compliance
• Remove tooling before calibration date; monitor consumables inventory
• Monitor cores; ensure timely vendor return
• Maintain good housekeeping in stores
• Perform other duties as assigned
